Cleaning your dentures is as important as cleaning your natural teeth.
They should be cleaned after every meal using a denture cream or denture cleaner. Denture teeth are softer then natural teeth and using toothpaste can cause microscopic scratches from the abrasives found in toothpaste. These scratches give bacteria a place to attach and grow. You should also never use bleach to soak your denture.
Tip: brush your denture over a sink full of water so if the denture slips it doesn't break.
